Gurukul Differentiators

Diksha: Value Oriented Education

Diksha is about more than just knowledge; it’s about building good character. Through curated lessons, interactive discussions, and real-world applications, learners develop integrity, compassion, and responsibility. This holistic approach ensures they grow into well-rounded and good human beings to build a purposeful generation for our nation.

Consciousness Program

The Gurukul has collaborated with the Academy of Research for Cultivation of Indian Sciences (ARCIS). Our Consciousness Program nurtures mindfulness and self-awareness in learner. Incorporating yoga, meditation, and reflective practices, we guide learners to connect with their inner selves, fostering emotional balance and self-discovery. This equips them with the tools to navigate life with clarity and focus

‘All About Series’

The ‘All About Series’ is a special event at Gurukul that brings learners, educators, and parents together. It’s a celebration of growth, creativity, and learning. Each year, a unique topic is chosen, and learners dive deep into it by creating diverse stalls that showcase their understanding and exploration of the theme. By exploring diverse ideas and skills, the series strengthens connections and makes learning a joyful experience for all.

Circle Time

Circle Time is a period in the day where the Class Educator takes time to connect with the learner – share ideas, express thoughts, and address any classroom concerns. Each session helps build trust and strengthen the bond among all participants. It serves as a platform to promote core values, instill confidence, and encourage active listening.

Wonder Time

Wonder Time is a dedicated opportunity for learners to develop their observation skills and cultivate a sense of curiosity. Wonder Time values open-ended exploration, letting learners question, interpret, and marvel at their discoveries without rigid explanations, fostering critical thinking and creativity. Learners engage in open-ended activities that allow them to question, experiment, and innovate. It’s a time to let their imaginations soar and discover the joy of learning through exploration.

D.E.A.R Time

D.E.A.R Time (Drop Everything and Read) is a dedicated time designed to make reading a key priority in every learner’s life. It encourages learners to pause their regular activities and immerse themselves in books of their choice, promoting both independent learning and a love for reading. DEAR time is scheduled consistently each week, ensuring learners understand its importance and look forward to it. Whether learners bring a book from home or choose one from the library, this period becomes an essential part of their routine, fostering a reading culture that supports diverse interests and reading levels.

D.E.E.D

The D.E.E.D (Debating, Elocution, Extempore, Dance/Drama) program helps learners develop confidence and communication skills. Learners are presented with various opportunities throughout the year through drama, public speaking, and debates, making them learn to express themselves clearly and effectively.

Vatsalya: Parent Education Program

Vatsalya, our parent education program, recognizes that parents are vital partners in a child’s education. We believe in the “Four-way handshake” – a strong connection between the Learner, the School, the Educators and the parents. Vatsalya provides workshops, resources, and open communication channels to support parents in understanding child development, effective parenting strategies, and how to best support their child’s learning journey.

Finishing School

The Gurukul has collaborated with The Amity Finishing School, Noida focusing on equipping learners with essential life skills and etiquette. From public speaking and personal grooming to social etiquette and leadership training, this initiative prepares them to excel in both personal and professional realms.

Form Mornings

Form Mornings at The Gurukul are vibrant gatherings that bring our community together. These short, focused sessions offer a blend of activities like sports, dance, and music, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience. More importantly, Form Mornings provide a valuable opportunity for personalized attention and talent discovery. By bringing specific classes together for short periods each morning, we create a space where teachers can observe individual strengths and nurture emerging talents.

Samarpan: Community Service Programs

Samarpan embodies the spirit of giving back to society. Learners participate in initiatives that promote social responsibility and empathy, such as environmental drives, volunteering, and charity events. These experiences instill a sense of purpose and a commitment to making a difference.

Experiential Learning

Astronomy Lab: Learners explore the wonders of the universe through hands-on experiments, stargazing sessions, and interactive models.

Math Lab: A dynamic space for understanding mathematical concepts through puzzles, manipulatives, and real-world applications.

Role Play Room: Learners step into various roles to practice empathy, creativity, and problem-solving in real-life scenarios.

Sensory Lab: Designed to stimulate and engage all five senses, this lab helps learners develop cognitive and motor skills.

Storytelling: Through the art of storytelling, learners enhance their language skills, imagination, and cultural understanding, making learning both fun and meaningful.
